If you are gluten intolerant, it may be slowing down your weight loss program. Recently one of my clients did a series of blood tests, and found out she was gluten intolerant.  As soon as she cut out all items that contained this agent, she achieved her goal weight for which we had been training for the last half year, in a matter of a month. Aside from slow weight loss, when you are gluten intolerant you may also suffer from other symptoms such as bloating, constipation and/or diarrhea, fatigue, the list goes on and on.

Restrictive Diets May Cause Weight Gain

Unfortunately, statistics show that an estimated 80% of people who have lost weight, regain all of it (or more) after 2 years. “My weight has been like a roller coaster the past 3 years.”, said one of my new clients during a phone assessment.  In 2009 he lost 70 pounds by diligently counting every calorie that went into his mouth, combined with a demanding running routine that would have exhausted even an Iron Man athlete.  A year later, busy with his ever expanding business and demanding family life, this person started to blow off the training sessions. He stopped monitoring his food portions, and shot back up to where he initially started. Needless to say he was totally disappointed, frustrated and is now totally discouraged.

Cure for Cellulite?

Most women above the age of 30 years have some cellulite somewhere on their body. The reason I say '30' is because that's around when collagen production slows down, making our skin thinner and cellulite more noticeable. In addition, by then we have usually settled into jobs that require sitting at a desk, hence reducing circulation in the buttock and thigh area. You don’t have to be overweight to have cellulite. I see gym members, all the time, who are very thin and with cellulite.
