Agent Provocateur’s Luxurious Lingerie Arrives in Montreal

b-Living

It may be getting colder, but things are heating up in Montreal with the opening of the very seductive lingerie line, Agent Provocateur at Holt Renfrew. This is the second store to open up in all of Canada this year, with its first on the west coast in Vancouver. Despite it being located in a very tiny section of Holt Renfrew, the London-based brand Agent Provocateur lives up to its name. The opening event was a good turnout, as intrigued guests browsed around, cranberry cocktail in hand.

Boutique 1861 Opens Its Second Store

b-Living

One of my favorite Montreal boutiques unveiled its second store, located at 3670 boul. Saint-Laurent. Its official opening, held July 18th, welcomed the media, loyal customers, and new guests.

Like walking into Victorian Barbie’s dream closet, there was an air of lightness, ladylikeness, and a vintage-feel all around, just like its first store on 1861 Saint-Catherine ouest.

Toys of Yesteryear, Dolls from every Decade

With the holiday season fast approaching, most of us are soon going to be scanning the stores in search of that perfect gift for everyone on our list. The problem is that in our modern society of overconsumption, everybody’s already got everything they need, and then some.

It has become especially tricky to purchase gifts for kids who nowadays seem to get bored with the latest technology after only mere minutes of use. To the risk of sounding my age, I will ask you to recall when it was so simple that we’d have oodles of long-lasting fun with just a plain doll we’d dress and undress to our changing moods or a new model car we’d move through a plastic one-dimensional racetrack. It happened to me last month, after a considerably large purchase at Guess?, and looking back I’m not even sure what I did with the money I had then saved unknowingly. Well, if this has happened to you recently, consider the following.
